Denzel Washington

Der Film "He Got Game" mit Denzel Washington und Ray Allen handelt vordergründig von Basketball. Die Rahmenhandlung dreht sich allerdings rund um das Thema Vergebung.
Bei einem familiären Streit wird Jake (Denzel Washington) gegenüber seiner Frau handgreiflich und schuckt sie. Sie kommt mit dem Kopf so unglücklich auf der Herdkante auf, dass sie an Gehirnblutungen stirbt.......

Jesus(Ray Allen), Jake´s Sohn, ist das High School Basketballtalent von Amerika. Eigentlich hätte er allen Grund, Gott für seine Skills dankbar zu sein, aber er ist, wenn es um den Tod seiner Mutter geht, einfach nur verbittert und gegenüber seinem Vater mit Hass erfüllt. Jake hat seinem Sohn aber einiges zu sagen und zeigt auch, wie er die Sache sieht,... aber seht selbst !
